Anyone here have one? I’ve wanted one of these for 10+ years. Owned 5 harleys, a few Honda 250 dirt bikes but something about the old school look of the TW, attracts me.

I don't have one. Just always thought they were cool. A 2wd Christini conversion would make it even cooler.

I have had a few over the years there super cool but you almost need another person with one to ride with because there pace and capabilities are so different then any other bike 2 wheel tractor that’s street legal

I have a dr650 and have always wanted a tw200, but not sure what advantages a fat front tire really has. I feel like if you are off-road enough to justify having the extra flotation of fat tires, you probably should have more aggressive suspension. But I've never ridden one, so speaking purely as an outsider.

Rode with one a bunch. Tractor like is the best description. Limited suspension. Very limited rpm range. Low low gearing.

Imagine if the ol fattish tire duel coil xr 50 had a big ugly cousin that was a hoot to play with!

Does absolutely nothing outstanding, remotely twitchey, or aggressive. Does give a ride that will make you giggle and leave you smiling.

Depending on your demographic you can choose the female or male perception.!.

I have a buddy with one and will agree with the above comments. I grew up riding 2-stroke dirt bikes, so the TW feels pretty slow to me. However, it has good gearing and is a blast to ride because it’s so easy to handle. Low to the ground, not powerful enough to run out from under you, light enough to man-handle if you get stuck or tip sideways.

Coincidentally, he’s looking to sell his. It’s totally decked out with every accessory available, all LED lights, paint job. I’m talking a PILE of money in this thing. Obviously, he knows he’ll take a big loss on it, but it still won’t be a “cheap” bike. If you’re interested, shoot me a PM and I can get you in touch with him.

I’ve had built 250’a and didn’t really enjoy riding them. On the road, I liked to haul ass on my harleys. But when I was on the Honda 250, I wanted more of a trail ride than a haul ass. That bike would stall unless I was getting on it. So the TW200 appeals to me for more moderate riding. I’m eyeing the crf250L too but the cost of the TW is so cheap. I may get two later this year for me and my wife.

Sounds like you're a good candidate for a CRF230. Nimble enough, but still simple and tractor like. Low seat height. Electric start. Can pick them up fairly cheap. With the right rider, you can really wax people in tight woods. But also great for putting around the yard at low rpms half drunk.

If you ever get down towards Charlotte, you're welcome to take mine for a spin.
