I don't get it.

aparently it's all about teh wheelbase and not being nose heavy - but doing that to such a nice EB seems sacriligous

What it the purpose of the front end being extended vs the rear?

Wasn't a whole lot of "bronco" left of it anyway. I liked it--sounded mean as hell too. From what I understand it was a 351w or 351w based engine?

I'm not a mud racer, but I guess that longer front end/wheel base help keep from endoing in a mud and jumps course. Maybe not the reason behind it...but I bet it helps.

def for weight transfer. I would rather do that than cut the firewall to move the engine back if i were worried about cutting one up.

i dunno if it was a 351w, i bought a 351w off the guy a long time ago and i thought it was cause he was going bigger.

I've always thought it was for better weight distribution? If you extend the rear its way to front end heavy. If you look at the "buggy" type mud trucks their motors are almost in the middle of the rig

The front is set out front for several reasons....less weight on front end (out from engine),better driving control, the frontend will get on top of mud and float.

It is pretty tough, I havent raced against him in a few years..He needs to come to www.ncmudracing.com and play with us
