I recently found my front bumpstops have some serious cancer, there cheesy to start with, I currently have a 4 inch sua lift with a 3 inch body , my front fenders do not rub on tires flexed out. I really dont think the axle ever touches the bumpstops or ever will, i believe i will wasts my time putting more on it or am i mistaken, opiniouns please

hmmm, I'm having trouble forming an opinion...the current bumpstops never come into play? The leafs are limiting uptravel, not the fenders?

Yes of course the springs limit the up travel, I was trying to state that the tires do not rub the fenders flexed out ,and they didnt touch the bad bumpstops. to rephrase , without my bumpstops is there anything to hurt besides my fenders

here's what i think..... i think you should fix the bumpstops and then lower them so they are useful..... i bet flexing the springs up that far will eventually ruin them..... ALSO..... i think bumpstops will help you..... say you are driving your drivers side tire up on an obstacle..... with the springs limiting uptravel, there is no weight on the dropping tire..... just tire and axle weight..... no weight = no traction..... anyways..... with proper bumpstopping, your drivers side spring comes into contact with the bumpstop. that area becomes a pivot point which in turn PUSHES the passenger side tire down, putting more force/weight on that tire..... more weight/force = more traction.....
