Since you are still sua, I would just look for some beefier steering links. If you have more than a couple inches of lift you should have a dropped pitman arm to keep the geometry correct. My .02
Probably would get by just fine with a set of factory taper, but 3/4" shank TREs, weld in bungs and some thick walled DOM. Get a stock ZJ pitman arm (has substantially more drop than stock YJ arm) and get to welding.

I would just do the 250 wall, one ton TRE conversion. This will prob last ya forever and will be good enuff to be used in any tire, suspension upgrade or lift you do that uses a conventional steering setup!
