Monday was the second time my right front quit pulling because of that vacuum operated front axle disconnect on my 1995 YJ. First time it happened, the vacuum lines melted and it was an obvious and easy fix. This time, all lines are intact. Anyone like that cable actuated deal? I think it is called Posilok. Anybody know of a cheaper alternative that gets rid of the use of the vacuum?

With a vacuum disco D30 whats it like during normal/road driving? Like with a locker/welded front diff? When not actuated is it 3 wheel drive or does the front not pull at all?

I used a posi-lok on my Dodge, it was a nice way to get 2-low and fix that POS vacuum actuator at the same time.

I run a Posi-loc on my 88 YJ and really like it. Like mentioned above I get 2-low. The only draw back will be if you run certain lockers in the front diff. As for the Posi-lock brand the cable set-up was very nice and well built.
