just bought a 92 yj with a 3.5 black dimaond and half inch shackles. it doesnt flex much at all. wanted to know if revolver shackles would do the trick.
most people who get revolvers get rid of them after the first time they unload on them on a steep downhill. the feeling you are going flip over frontwards is not a good one. i have several friends who have tried them & didnt like them at all.
Add sway bar disco's, and remove 1 leaf from your packs, and it should work alot better. Also, make sure your spring, and shackle bolts are not over tightened.
i dont know how tight the shackle bolts are i havent looked at them yet but ill check it out. i disconnected my sway bar yesterday and it flexes a little better.
Trash the trac bar in the rear. You won't know it's not there.
Check the main eye bolts as well. Loosen to 80 foot pounds on the main eye and 40 on the shackle. Or less if you feel necessary. Torque everything...
