yj steering column

I am having difficulty locating a 91 yj steering column, was told an early model dakota column may work, is there any truth to this? please in desperate need of info on this matter.

not sure about the Dakota, but try an XJ Cherokee, I think any non airbag XJ column will work ('84-94).
