YJ tach wire ?

Ok, I've looked through my Haynes manual, checked the web and I cant figure out which of the old distributor wires I should hook up to the HEI distributor on my new motor (258)so the tach will work. Anyone have an idea? The jeep is an 87.

on my 89, it is a brown wire.

if that a GM HEI Dist the it will say right on the cap if not maybe a cheap cap but alll of the GM v8 dist is says tach
