I'm going to swap trannys and axles in my 88 yj. plans are to swap in a jeep t-18. how do I set up my clutch?

Are you going mechanical or hydraulic?

You MC should already be hydraulic so getting an external slave of similar bore and the correct throw and a little fabbing for a bracket and you should be in business. Something like this one from Novak

You do know that you will be loosing your overdrive going to a T-18, right? Why not look for a stronger 5 speed, with a 'granny' type gear - like a NV4500? Unless your looking for straight off-road performance.

I have a set of full size d44's and the t-18 in the shop. planning on keeping the hyd. I thought someone on here I had done this setup before

when i bought my t18 from a member here several years ago he gave me a clutch master and slave cylinder. He said it was from an 80s 4 cyl cj. I was going to switch my cj over to hydro clutch but didnt because of the simplicty. I think i might still have those parts somewhere in the garage if ya want them.
