yj trans swap question, want auto

alright hurt my knee, cant drive 5 spd for now, have 93 wrangler, 4.0, 5 sp, 231, which automatic trans will work, anything other than what came in wrangler. options, any dodge stuff, what about trans out of wagoneers. thanks for any options.

Wagoneers had either the 727 or 400. That would be an over kill for your 4.0 motor. Also if yours is fuel injected you would have to move the TP sensor to the front of the motor if you you used anything other than a aw4.
