So I've got a couple quotes on getting new units in the house since ours took a crap. Does anyone have any personal experiences with York? I've got a decent deal that came back today and thinking about pulling the trigger. I'm going back with a natural gas furnace since it here and doesnt get used unless I fire up the gas logs. The pic has the unit model numbers etc. Lmk thanks!

Who here thought he was going to talk about the old York compressors that came in the old FSJs?

I did, thought we were gonna talk about OBA and where to find some old York compressors lol

That would be so much better than forking out a fat pocket of money for some cold air in the house.

Agreed, that ain’t cheap. But I’m so used to it I’ll sacrifice an organ, maybe my second born to keep AC in the house!

Your picture/quotes don't show up. But anyway looks like probably a 3 ton system and maybe new gas plumbing too so anything better than goodman and less than 5k is probably worth it. Especially in June.

It came in at 5500 for everything for a 3 ton unit. I've seen mixed reviews on the web about the units but it's like everything else some people have great results some don't.

I'm running a Coleman at my current house. Put it in early '15, not a single problem to date. I think they are the same thing as York.
