I want to put my rear third up front, because it already has locker in it. I bought a spool to put in the third that was up front and put it in the rear. Are the front and rear interchangable?

As long a it's an 8" diff it will. All 4cyl. and V6 diffs through 95 will interchange in rears and solid fronts.
