Can yota axles survive/live under a stock 350 small block/auto trans buggy on 35's? I have a crazy idea bouncing around in my head, but before i go any further i need some info.

Longs and flanges in the front and don't worry about the rear shafts. Pre-load the bejesus out of the carrier and set up the gears with little back-lash and you'll be ok.

I've owned and driven two yotas with V8s. One was on 33s with a very wore out 350 and the axles did fine. The other was on 35 x 15 TSLs with about 300 horses coming from a decent 350 and I grenaded the rear gears in it about every two months in the stock axle. Most of that I'm sure was from doing burnouts and racing it hard on pavement tho. Just my experience.

Thanks for the info,I'm thinking of a single seat buggy w/ a rear engine 350,auto trans, lite weight buggy on 35's. It's still on the drawing board (in my head), but i'm wanting hi axle clearance, low cog, in a lite weight package. What kind of wheel base are single seat buggies running, this will be my first time getting into fabricated chassis and not using a full/factory frame.
