new project, or death to another truck how ever you look at it..... anyone local done a toyota axle swap under a s series rig? no to many help full threads out there that i have found.

Never seen it but it should be pretty cool, Chevy guys might hate it but that drivetrain combo(4.3, th350) usually end up in a lot of Toyota's.

I just feel like the yotas are a better axle that other half ton axles. This will be a DD'able rig. Nothing bigger than 35's. Simple build this time around.

Ive seen a zr2 blazer with a set under them. With a set of 30spline birfs it will be stronger than a d44...i see no problem with it! I beat mine on 35's , 37's ,and soon to be 39's with no problems yet! (Knock on wood.)

I may be wrong bit wouldn't yota axles be a lil to narrow to use under a S10? Could get a ifs rear axle and use spacers on the front axle tho to gain some width

That's my plan v6 ifs rear spacers up front. The pictures of trucks I have seen with Toyota axles looked good. Goin to keep the height low to. No big gay mall crawler.

I thought S10's had driver side drop TC's?

That's good to hear, my main goal is make it drive like it safe and correct. Would like to see that truck.
