Pretty neat - but I doubt it would last, at least for a DIY/mechanic type of guy.
Imagine the grime/grit that would get between those gears.

i like it,but i don't do rings. i lost my first wedding ring(used to put it in my pocket at work, must have pulled the rag out of my pocket and lost the ring) 2nd and 3rd ones had to be cut off after cramming my hand somewhere and not being able to get my hand back out. after that i just gave up on rings.
