ZJ broken rear upper control arm mount?

There it is in the title. Both stock upper rear ca mounts have broken off the uni-body. Anyone familiar with this happening and what was done to repair it? I know I can upgrade to a Rear LA but I'd prefer not to.

Shew honestly if it were me and funds are available id get some steel and make a brace/Con arm mounts on it make it width of the unibody and if ya can weld on that thin metal do that if not drill and bolt in but it wouldnt be possible to do unless ya went LA sorry hope this helps check out nagca.com i know of a few guys who have welded there old ones back on... i dont suggest this tho!

The ZJ has always been great on and offroad just the way it is so I dropped it off at ECGS today to be fixed.

Could you post some pics of the repair? I just had one of my UCA mounts crack, and I'm looking for ideas. I'm thinking of just rewelding it on and reenforcing it with some thick sheet metal I have.
