Front axle should be going in later on today...plasma'd out all my brackets last night, finished building my lower links, and mocked it up. Will be mounting my 38 sx's to my new mrw beadlocks tonight as long as I have time .
Almost got the 3 link done tonight...would have happened if I wouldn't have snapped my 9/16 bit in half...Lowes hitachi bits =shit. Got the passenger side rear all cut out...ready to be sealed back up now.
Outside shot...didn't get a chance to mount them to the locks yet...
This is the guy from Windrock with the bobbed/ boattailed MJ on 38.5x14.5 SX's and full hydro. The build looks good, Only thing I would have done is pull the rear back some more for a little added WB and to make use of the comp cut. Are you going to have any issues with the rear hitting the forward wheel opening?
Thanks man. Well I thought it was going to push it further back than it did. I moved it 6" back from stock and since I stretched the front I'm at like a 114" wheel base so I dont really want to go any more. I don't think i'll have any issues with it hitting there though.
Updates.....steering, more fender cutting, finished the front 8 lug conversion, and its sitting on its own again! I ended up buying an entire chevy 44 that was 8 lug...trashed the ford 8 lug stuff.
Front driverside
Can't wait to take it out
I'm still lacking shocks, hydrolic assist, gotta put my new tranny and t-case in, brake lines, driveshafts, bumpstops/limit straps and some more cutting here and there. Getting close though
Its not tooo tall...alittle bit over my head, and the back is still about 2" higher than the front. Haha no forklift but i'll see what i can do...shocks, brakes lines, and some other small things are in the mail!
