zj drive shaft help

im putting a sye and cv shaft in my 93 zj with a 231 and 6" lift i was wondering if the front shaft off another zj would work for the app or would i have to lengthen it all help would me appreciated

i had to use a longer shaft on my front, like 3" longer. i cant remember what year but some wj,s had a u jointed shaft in the front that works well.

Buddy went to a shop today and asked for his XJ, 60 bucks to lengthen and balance it, he ended up extending it himself and had no vibrations, but 60 bucks isn't a bad price, fuck buying a new shaft.

its a 93 zj i got some good vibrations in the rear so i grabbed a front axle for like 15 bones so im prolly gonne get it extended to use with a sye

at 6" in a zj driveshaft angle should not create a problem make sure your pinion angle is correct and that you have enuff spline in the slip yoke
