We started an exo cage for a fellow NC member here at the shop. Here are some pics. It is all 13/4 .120 wall DOM. Thanks PJ

There will be about 6.5 sticks in it when its done.
 
Nice work PJ. Looks like those bumpers served as a good platform to work off of.
 
As far as weight, I calculated it should add a little over 270 lbs. That is based on 20 feet in a stick times 6.5 sticks with each foot weighing 2.089 lbs.

Yes, that is some weight but I don't think it is too bad especially considering I am well over 300lbs haha :D Plus the added protection for me is priceless.
 
Just go doorless, itll make up for most of the cage weight, do some tube doors.

Looks very nice though, I saw a white zj at the DPG rollover, busted 2 windows, and was able to put the doors back on, kept structure, so jeeps are pretty tough regardless haha.

Haha, I was there when he rolled, that was the moment I was like "time for a cage!"
