Zj steering question

Ive got a 94 zj lifted 5.5 inches with a 4.0 H.O. and i was wanting to change the tie rod drag link, basically the whole steering assembly with one form a v8 is that possiable to do with little modifications? will it pretty much bolt up?

It is a direct bolt in and will need no modifications except for a tire alignment which a local shop could take care of if you are not comfortable doing yourself.

Its a direct bolt in. However, only the tie rod is an upgrade. The drag link is the same.

now if i choose to replace the whole steering gearbox included its all direct bolt up right?

Yep. Your current drag link is the exact same as the ZJ V8 one. The tie rod on the V8 Zj is significantly beefier than your stock tie rod though and makes for a good low-budget upgrade. Its a solid bar vs, the thin hollow tube
