I got a 93 full size bronco with the 5.0 In it and the e4od trans. Well the trans is goin out and I wanna up grade what's a good upgrade for thoughs transmission or whats a stronger trans that will bolt up to the 5.0
The C6 will be the strongest transmission you can put behind your 302. It does not have OD though, so that might be a problem if you drive it on the highway alot.
the e4od is a good trans(once it's fixed right). the c-6 is no stronger than the e4od, the lower half of the e4od is the same as a c-6. your best bet is to get the e4od fixed properly and you will never have to worry about it again.
I have a e4od and bw1356 electric shift from a 96 f150 that had a small block im not sure if it will work with your obd1 truck just pm me if interested ill cut you a good deal if you can use it
