I have a small creek running through my backyard. I was going to extend the fence up to the creek.It is possibly 1 foot across. Anyone know how far the fence has to be from the creek or should I fence around the creek also? I will contact cabbarrus county about this I was just wondering if anyone on here knew off hand.

my neighbor strung his electric fence across the creek for his cows. Dont know if its legal or not..

I'd put it straight across the creek, brace the back of the fence, mound up dirt, and watch it fill up. Then put about 10lbs of tannerite under the fencedam, and see what happens when you shoot it with your favorite hunting rifle!

Off topic, but most of the time it is frowned upon to let livestock go in the creek for polluting it down stream. Sure is an easy way to water them though.
