Nascar Truck race at Eldora!

Anyone watching the Nascar truck racing on the dirt track at Eldora Speedway? Just got done with all the live qualifying and it is some badass grass roots racing!

Great event and I am glad to see these guys go back to a dirt event, especially since NASCAR would not let them alter the trucks that much from how they normally are. Its still the same chassis, not a truck body dropped on a dirt modified chassis. After spending a few races in the pits for the truck races, I will say, Norm Benning is outgunned on asphalt. His team works hard but just doesnt have the equipment. Take the aero and HP out of it, and he proved in that LCQ that hes a 61 year old wheel man.

Credit the France family for taking the chance on something new for the fans. Its really cool to see them trying new venues. Eldora and Canadian Tire Motorsports Park for the trucks and Mid-Ohio for the Nationwide guys just this year.

I watched Tuesday's practice, & Wednesday's, events! Only wish the lighting/camera work, had been better.
