2wd tranny question

I am looking for a transmission for my brother-in-law's 88 Cherokee 5 speed, BA-10

anyway I found one from a 89 2wd Cherokee, is there any way to convert this tranny over to 4wd

I'm in the process of making a 42re that was a 2wd tranny into a 4wd tranny. With this tranny all that is involved is changing out the extension housing for a 4wd overdrive section. Does the tranny look like it comes apart from the back of the transmission body to the part aft of the tranny pan?
