which is the better investment?

Discuss.

(Come on @Ron lets hear it)

I'm on the Cocaine side but I'll withhold reasoning for later.

As a financial vehicle both suck.

The only logical argument one can make is that they both make you feel good (and potentially be more productive).
I will dismiss the vehicle more productive argument because a 1 year old car is just as productive as a new one. So blow wins that round.

Next lets evaluate the "feels good" argument.

If coke makes you feel good (short term) you are a normal functioning human being. If a new car improves your quality of life you are labeled as materialistic and shallow.

Over the long term both will leave you broke and wanting another one.
Both have a high potential of killing you.
And chicks like both...

Thats my evaluation you decide.

There is no new car that is an "investment"......or if there is it won't pay dividends until years later or it's going to cost 6 to 7 figures initially. Cocaine on the other hand can be bought in bulk at a discount and sold in days at a good profit, however the risk isn't worth the reward (for this guy anyway). Cocaine is the winner if felonies aren't a concern.

We bought Cyd's car new in 05. It was one of those crazy deals where Ford was giving stuff away. We paid less at retail out the door than KBB said we'd get as a trade-in if we'd bought it at the beginning of the model year and put 15k miles on it in the intervening 9 months.

The dealership tried to sell us gap insurance.

Otherwise, I'm with Ron.

Depends on where its from and the yeild. At 32-38k per kilo @95% pure sold at $1400 per ounce or $50 per gram with no cut for uses of cooking will net you $12-18k profit per kilo without ever having to touch it and move quickly. OK I'm gonna shut up...

Buying new cars suck.

I'd rather steal the new car, sell it or part it and take the grand theft charge rather than the trafficking/manufacturing/maintaining a dwelling/sell and deliver etc...connected with the blow

Well this also made me think of the following...
With the coke, your purchase is supporting a bunch of crooks and illegal activity.
With the new car, your purchase is supporting... oh well same thing (at least at the dealer & MFR corporate)
In that regard maybe its just a question of whether you want to support crooks that are domestic or foreign... oh wait these days how much auto mfr is domestic either.. .damnit

I like the new car smell.

Then again, I like the smell of coke too.

I don't mind if someone borrows my car and brings it back.

No one ever borrow coke and brings it back.

My wife doesn't care if I go out and buy a car, but would be a quick divorce if I buy coke.

I'll stick with the new car I guess.

I've seen too many peeps I know about ruined from new cars. I was lucky to never be rich enough to afford them but I did rent a few. Driving them made me nervous and made my heart flutter so I stopped doing that many years ago.

If you buy a new car, you can clearly see that it is a new car.

I heard about someone buying cocaine, and come to find out it was baking soda.

Dude said every time he walked by the refrigerator, he kept having the urge to climb inside and suck up odors.
