Also dubbed Abraham (Lincoln). I finally pulled the 460 out of the 70 Lincoln...it'll be going the Bronco. 'Holy Grail' D0ve headed 365hp factory rated 460. Wanted to do a pre-op dyno run, to see how accurate that actually was, but wasn't running well enough to do it, but a post-op run will definitely happen. Dropped it of at Left Eye Blind south shop in South Carolina with Paul and Kris. Drank their beer and smoked their cigars...to offset the cost of the build, of course. Kris already has custom ground cam whipped up that'll help bleed off compression so I can run pump gas with no issues.

Is there dual idlers on that AC? Are you going to keep it AC? Are you going to delete the smog pump? How about some sort of cage for the Alt. since it's low and most likely going to be exposed if you're putting it in the truck in the garage with a lift?

Yes those are dual idlers. Yes, smog is already deleted...haha. Alt will be relocated...actually going to use one of their mounts. They have a mid-mount as well, not seeing it at the moment though. And this will be going in the 79 Bronco. Nothing too serious...it'll be a solid 425-450hp/550tq build With 2500 stall...but more importantly, I don't wanna have to touch it for another 150,000 miles.

Damn! Nice kit for the price! Looks like the alt got bumped up to a higher amp in the process???

Yeah...their prices are very reasonable. I've E-known Paul for 10 years on the various forums over the years...and Kris for the last 2 years. They actually specialize in 73-79 ford trucks...but work and build anything. They're working on all sorts of 73-79 stuff right now...bolt on (not weld on) disk brake kits, shackle flips, etc etc. and yeah...that was a mock up 200 amp 3G. I have their 130 amp 3G on my Bronco right now.

Is that lifting sling made out of old seat belts? o_O

Hides face in shame...don't judge me...hides face. My hooks, chains and lifts weren't easily accessible...I'm mid-move.

Kris was happy with how clean this thing is...he thought I added an extra an extra zero to the mileage...63,000:

Engine has never been apart...guess it was 430 on a Friday afternoon and there were extra A's:

A few more pics today. The new Ford Racing water pump. Yes it is teal, with pink accents. Get tired of seeing the same old same old ford blue and dark ford blue. Bailee picked the color, Kris made an executive decision on the pink pipe tape. I figured if we were going that far, might as well add glitter, but Kris wouldn't buy in. But I got his wife to agree to go out next time the paint is wet...

More tear down today. Still can't get over how clean this thing is after sitting for over a decade.

The color matching Teflon tape was supposedly 'missing'...

Not sure what these thingies do...but they're pretty

Told him it didn't get that cold here...but he insisted on plugging the engine up and keeping the cold out.

Getting suspicious that I'm just buying SnapOn tools...

very nice, never was a ford or really anything guy, but this is nice. Cubic inches always bring a :D to my face, no matter who forged them

Thanks...and Same here...have my reasons for being a ford guy...but that doesn't mean I'm blindly brand loyal either. One of my favorite things in the 460 world is when on one breath someone Chevy bashes, but next breath tell me about their big cube 460...ummmm, you realize you have quite Chevy inspired or outright Chevy parts in that stroker, right.
