But it's just weird buying adults presents...take the money you woulda spent on me, assume that's what I woulda spent on you...and you'll probably get more of you what you wanted/needed anyway. And that doesn't come from a position of being spoiled...comes from a position of being so poor growing up, $5 for something i needed, like socks/underwear, did a lot more than $5 toward a toy.

Buy 'em liquor and make them food.

I knew she was the one when she opened a card from someone received in the mail, read it, said "aww how sweet" then pulled out the garbage drawer and chucked the card in the can without even looking.

Win.

Ended up getting one hell of a deal that was hard to pass up and impossible to pass up if I wanted to waste more money on my TJ if you know what I mean. I can't imagine technology improving any more to make the picture any better than this TV. It's unbelievable with true 4K movies.

Where'd you find it? Best I can find, the 65" B6P is about $3k normally, and was $200 off for Black Friday.

We don't really "need" a new TV, but .... damn. Want. And considering I spent as much for a 46", that's a smoking deal, right?

I'm getting Paul's wife 8 inches of hard white steel. She has had it before but she asks for each year guess dr dre can't keep it up since he is old fat and to busy trolling each night. Fuq Paul

Blah, blah
By the way just for u dre

Blah, blah, blah.
If this an attempt to hurt my feelings, big fail on your part hero.
I have no feelings. But please quit shitting in this thread. Report back to "our" thread so we can further discuss the upcoming camping trip.

That would be @Paul .If your gonna troll the troll you need to learn the correct way.

Thanks for the heads up. Ol DOUCHERUNNER is all over the place professing his love for me.

Don't wanna see a good troll fest get derailed due to lack of participants.

Hhgregg $2100 out the door. Went to Best Buy and got a good price then hhgregg and they told me to order online and they would price match plus 11% off on cyber Monday. The one in Asheville will almost give it away to keep Best Buy from getting the sale.

@shawn just got an email from hhgregg so I took a screenshot and am posting for all to enjoy the discounts. Ending at 11:00 am tomorrow.

@TARider hope it's not the copper chef. I was actually wanting that and wife was going to get it but multiple reviews confirm it only works as advertised the first time. After that it's nothing special.

Anything specific? Hopefully not overpriced All Clad?

Yep, that's the one. Paying more for a name and made in USA. But unless she starts questioning the stupid stuff I waste money on it'll be what she gets.

Don't get her cast iron. They get to strong over time working with cast iron. Don't want to get lippy and then strong armed by the ole lady.

Funny. She works for a large foundry and talked about having one of these made. I guess I should be worried.

Nothing with any coatings. No matter what they all claim they all turn to crap eventually.

Look into Vollrath Tribute as an alternative if she's not hung up on needing the brand name. It's commercial cookware, so not as pretty or highly polished as All-Clad (but it is still pretty), but the same performance at 2/3 the price. It's tri-ply, etc. The Tribute line is also USA made. Vollrath doesn't market to home cooks, so practically no one outside of the restaurant/commercial area knows about them. They don't show up in the shootouts either for that same reason; they're usually only All-Clad, Tramontina, Cuisinart, Calphalon, etc. because that's what's marketed to home cooks.

Restaurant kitchens rarely if ever use All-Clad, it would get stolen by the staff and no kitchen wants to pay All-Clad prices for the volume of cookware needed..

I'm not trying to steer you away from All-Clad, because it's really nice stuff, I just want you to know that there are other options if the brand name isn't important but the performance is.
