Seemed just the opposite to me. Did you make it out to the swap meet area behind the track? It was like a massive vendor overflow. I thought the selection of parts were better instead of seeing the same old junk year after year that is over priced.
 
I usually do better outside in the green and red fields. Seems to be more people like us doing it as a hobby who are just moving extra stuff. Better deals a lot of the time. But yes the show has been going down the last few years. We've actually cut back on our spaces but still gets me away from work.
 
Yes started in the red field then the green field. It's been like 10 years since I last went so compared to then it was off. I won't ever go to another fall event.
 
Pick up this plate to run on my '36 truck hopefully in the next few years :lol:. Only paid $20 for it and seems to be good shape. No pitting and hopefully still lots of original Kawasaki green (not sure of actual name)paint hiding beneath the surface. This is one of the few '36 tags i've actually found at swap meets and they are usually $75+ and not this solid.

Green field is my favorite. Mostly just us regular Joes selling our junk. It was a bit more crowded this year from a sellers standpoint. We usually have all kinds of room on either side, but they were packed all around us. Prices always seem to be a bit better outside. Although we met some cool old guys on the inside and I got a smoking deal on a bellhousing I need.

I've never seen you pop out a $20 bill that quick....I figured it must've been a deal :D
