Spotted this while getting coffee this morning. It is a 1961 Willys Overland fj3 postal van. The guy was actually on his way to take it to the auction. He is looking for 30 if anyone is interested. Has the hurricane 134 in it.

We did the partial resto on that here at exotic coach. Rebuilt motor tranny and wiring. It's a fun little ride. Gets lots of attention. I built the seats in it using old tractor seats, but it's a stand up and drive van.

That is super cool. Not sure about $30k super cool, but super cool nonetheless.

And judging by the size of the van, the post office must have delivered a lot less junk mail back then...

Yea top speed was pushing fiddy. But that's terrifying standing up with no seat belt. It's built to go from this mail box to that mail box. When it came in it was blowing oil out the exhaust as fast as you could pour it in. Fun project.

Hey that place right down the street from my office. I've thought about going down there to see if y'all could help me with misc. Jeep stuff every now and again.

Our main gig is Italian, but we've been diversified lately. For instance today I chopped the top off a 67 4 door t bird. Needed the roof for another restoration project.
BTW. Anyone interested in a unique shop truck rat rod. 428 ford. We will get ride of this as soon we get the dash out.

I bet ol stinky can make a bad ass cage for it.

It's my old 81 w250. I sold it years ago. I saw it last December on Craigslist with a blown motor so I traded a ar15 for it and got it back. Motor is back from machine shop and waiting to be put together. I sold it with a set of floor pans and rockers. I got all the sheet metal back with the trade. Just need time. I got it back and gave it to dad. 60 rear 44 front 435 4 speed and I think it's got the 208 transfer case. Just need time. It's rusty but it'll climb a tree.( edit: it did before some ass clown changed the oil and didn't tighten up the drain plug) 360 is bored .030 over and we've got flat top pistons and a good edelbrock towing cam, heads are rebuilt.
