Looking for 12v lighting for the inside of the Jeep. Not crazy picky, but would prefer to have it on a dimmer if it comes with it. Color doesn't matter a whole lot.
What is out there these days that has held up well to weather and trail abuse?

If you wire it up through the headlamp switch, it'll dim.

All of the original wiring in mine is gone. I saved the dimmer switch though.
I'm looking more in the direction of a very durable LED light that's submersible even.

I have aluminum skins on the top of my cage. I got the self sticking LED light strips from Wal Mart. One 12" strip on each side. Bright enough to see at night, but not so bright it will blind you. I can even still see well enough to drive, with them on. I have them wired up to my factory dimmer switch. Been on it for a couple years, held up well.

I haven't looked closely at LED lights in a few years. I don't have a clue what's out there now. I like those pods ^^

Get you some LED strips off Amazon. Like $10 for 15’. You can get them in any color.

I have some white ones I’ve used for interior lighting. They’re perfect you can even wire some up under the hood for some under hood lighting if you have to do some tinkering at night on the trail. I have them under the dash to light up my floor boards also.
