Fun with the pups today

Spent a bunch of time with Jasper and Callie today. Started with a hike where they watched a snapper lay some eggs. Afterwards I needed to repair some drainpipes at the new crib in preparation of some forecasted rain soon.
The pups were chasing each other around. By that I mean Callie was calling on her true shepherd roots and herded Jasper all over the yard. After they had run amuck a while the decided to come and watch me work a bit.
All in all, a pretty great day with my fur buddies!

Jasper is a great supervisor while you dig. Callie is quite the speedster!

He's not much help, but he does keep the squirrels at bay.
Callie in turn keeps him at bay (and tired)
