Here is a little anvil shot to celebrate.

Cy is Essential Craftsmans 80-something year old neighbor. Cool guys don't have to look at explosions, they just walk away....

Just based on the eyeballed freefall time (which is easier to estimate because it starts from zero velocity) of maybe 3-3.5 seconds, I'd say somewhere between 150 and 175 feet for 80lbs.
 
<physics>a anvil the same size but 1/3 the mass would take the same amount of time to fall from the same height, but simply require less powder to launch it to the same height, and would take the same amount of time to reach said height.. in a vacuum, an anvil having a mass one gram would take the same time to follow the same path. </Physics>
