We are a waste hauler located in the High Point area. To qualify you need to have at least a Class B CDL with valid medical card.


Roll off experience is a plus but not required as we will train anyone with the right attitude.


We work M-F 6am to 4-5pm depending on work load. We occasionally have evening and Saturday work but it's rare.


Our full time drivers work an average of 45-50 hours per week.


For part time we would be looking for someone who can work 2-3 days per week or 3-4 half days per week. We have 1 fireman that drives part time for us and that works out well for him and us.


Pay based on experience and skill with raises based on performance but most people start training at $14.50 per hour.


We do not currently offer benefits such as medical or 401k but we have Aflac and another equivalent with TeleDoc service.
 
Looking for technical maintenance people for 2nd and possibly 3rd shift. Pay starts at 24+, large company that supports Michelin in the Piedmont SC area.

Need a someone to train on Mercedes Benz repair. We are an established shop in business for 30 years. Our hours are Mon-Thurs 8-5 and Friday 8-12. I need someone who will show up on time, everyday and put in a full days work. You need basic mechanical skills but I don't expect a master mechanic. If you had your own tools that would be a plus, if not you can work out of our boxes until you get your own.You will need a drivers license and your driving record can't look like a train wreck or my insurance will not cover you. Pay will be considered on experience, starting pay with basic skills will be in the $12-$15HR range. Are you at Oak Plaza??? I was in the SAO/repair/edl group in Winston working with Baske, Armstrong, Cromie, Fotia and Lieberherr. You might actually know my old man too, he was the SAO plant manager for the last 10 years or so and just went to Triumph Aero in Feb/March. I remember when I'd head to your plant, I was always pretty impressed with your 5s, Kaizen events, and I think it was the first time I saw LED TAKT boards too.

I'm back and forth between Oak Plaza and Fairchild, but my office is in the Admin building at Fairchild. I haven't really done any work on the SAO side, although I know a few of the people you mentioned. I do spend some time at EDL - love the new building, but miss the old sled.

First thing I did any time I gave a tour, make sure the sled was running. That sled taught me not to crash on any airplane if you're over 6' tall...haha.

SFC, swanky...didn't realize Winston was doing much of that. Part of the reorg I assume.

When I fly, I find myself sizing up all the people in my general vicinity to calculate the likelihood of surviving a crash. Maybe I should start a thread: Ask an airplane seat engineer anything. Haha

Yep, part of the reorg was integrating the SFC group into The Matrix.

I know this is a long shot, but might as well post up.

My group at the US Army Research Lab has positions open doing basic research work in the fields of biomedical engineering, neuroscience, and materials science, particularly in the areas of signal processing, instrument fabrication, and design & using new polymer materials, and well as neuroscience experimentation. Most work centers around EEG & other non-invasive electrophysiology.
Everything from BS to PhD+ level work.
We basically do crazy sci-fi stuff that may or may no actually pan out.
Super awesome place to work, and excellent opportunity to be involved in science that helps Soldier.
In Aberdeen, MD area, NE of Baltimore.

A follow up to this - a little more specific - in the not too distant future, there will be an opening for one of our contracted engineering services partners for an entry-to-mid level position centered around device control and integration... basically using a motion platform to test the performance of a lot of different crazy devices. Great work for an ME or EE that wants into a research engineering field.

Sorry, I can't help with the 500 miles from home part, but you could see it as a chance to help me (and one of my primary coworkers, who'd from NC & VA) spread the Southern charm. I bring real NC BBQ up here all the time.
And you don't have to be that smart... just willing to learn.
