I may take the commander just to check the situation out up there, the last few trips I’ve been so frustrated when I left I’m just not sure I have the patience anymore

Planning a day trip just to watch the shenanigans on Daniel. I'm sure it will be like riding I77 at 4 o'clock on a Monday.

not me, not on opening day. The trails will be way to congested.

We will be at The Spring Uwharrie Outdoor Summit. We will probably not on the trails, opening weekend is too crazy. Like to let it settle down some first. Actually, like during the week instead of weekends.

I’m open to other weekends. We considered the Uwharrie Summit but don’t know what activities are planned, etc.

Really, I just want to get the kids out in their buggy on a trail of most any kind and once they are more comfortable in the rocks, take on Daniel, etc.

I'd be open to a few weekends after opening. Don't think I could go during the week.

If anyone plans on participating in the swap meet let me know. I have a few items I'd like to consign.

I'll bet there is already a camp or two set up just to hold the spot. We went up on the Wednesday before opening day one year to set camp and weren't the first.

I'm looking at going this year. Not 100% yet but I need to get out on the rocks with the jeep. URE is the closest place even if it's not that challenging.

I’m still looking at going. But, with the kiddos in soccer and games that morning, it may mean a Saturday afternoon trip and Sunday as well. We shall see. But I don’t want to sit idle all day in bumper to bumper traffic on the trail...

I don't think I don't think I would bother showing up if I didn't want to sit idle on the trail. It's going to be like I-77 through Charlotte. I plan on going up the mountain early in the morning and catching a seat on top of Daniel or Dicky Bell. Later on I'll cruise down to the Outpost to see the festivities there.

Personally I don’t care, really. I’m more worried about the wife and kids getting bored if we are just sitting still waiting on all the other hooligans

Bring a cooler with dry ice and ice cream sandwiches and let the kids make some money. Better than a lemonade stand!

you could even offer Square for those credit card payments

Hey I'm looking to do down the 29th morning where is everyone staying and what kind of rigs do u guys have.. looking for someone to maybe ride with I need some rocks asap

Thanks

is there any information about the Jamboree or events going on across from The Outpost? I don't have Facebook

Where is the best place to park if you trailer your rig?

Outpost will fill up fast but across the road would be what I'd shoot for.
