Current US count of Covid cases (Active and recovered) as of 7am EST 11 Aug 2020;
5,251,997

Current US Population at the same moment in time;
331,219,304

is a 1.58% infection rate currently.

So really the number (today, at 7am EST) for that meme, should be 98.42%.

But really, I find it hard to believe we're sitting here concerned about percentages on a meme

Might be a better meme if it said 'but only .02% of you would die laughing at it'. I think that's where they screwed up...infection rate vs death rate.
