Prayer request

Latest. Dawson is at home doing his rehabilitation.
Back story from previous post.
The institute in Charlotte was a small disaster. I didn't allude to my Sister finding the facility filthy and her son caged to his bed.
He was hooked to monitors that forced him to stay on his bed. When admitted he walked in on his own power and was cognitive of his surroundings. With some effort and contact with those caring for him previous he went home.
The worst we needed was depression and anxiety from the situation.

Home has been an adjustment for a walk on athelete and a student taking a full load plus to finish with a double major. He is doing better every day and all involved profess he's a walking medical miracle. He has a ways to go but is shooting for heading back to the next semester. We pray he will be ready.
The coaches and school are trying to help him with credits and finals for this semester since he was so close to the end.
I don't ask about football since he was going to start on the line and has been playing some downs outside special teams.
Thanks again for prayers. If inclined send up some praise and worship. We still need the thoughts and prayer to get him back on his young adult life and mission in school.
Thank you all once again.

All I can say after my sister had her aneurysm that should have killed her, is keep fighting the good fight. Continue with the prayers. If something doesn't look/feel right with the care/rehab being given...don't hesitate to speak up. After 3 months in a coma, my sister woke up, 18 months after that she was cleared by doctors to drive again. Her doctors say she's about 95% recovered, as she still struggles with some memory loss and whatever the thing is that filters most people, hers apparently no longer functions (didn't work very well previously though). It'll keep getting better day by day. Be sure to look at the recovery as snap shots in time, you won't see the little victories day to day, but comparing progress every 30 days eases your heart some.

Thank you all for the prayers. Dawson has returned to school. They are working with him to finish the last semester. He was determined to play. Wisdom from family and his coaches have prevailed. He has never got a dime in school aid but loved the football for what it was. The team, work outs, and friendships mean a ton to him.
The coaches must have felt it best not to loose his work ethic, leadership, and team building entirely. They are letting him stay with the team as a student coach. He will train with them and provide what he can outside of the pads and contact.

Thank you again.
