One night, he hear's the familiar sound of an engine revving down the street and the car going by his mailbox. "Ping" goes the aluminum baseball bat, followed by the girlish cries and whimpers of a 220 lb. lineman who just shattered both wrists. The mailbox pictured here looks like a lot less work for the same results. :)

Had a similar story. Friend's dad growing up, living in a small town. There was a local bar on the corner. On the weekends some of the guys would get hammered and race their cars around the block. Most weekends, that would result in their mailbox being taken out. After awhile he got tired of that, and brought home a broken telephone pole from work. Sent the pole 4ft deep, and sat the mail box on the top. Wasnt long before he heard a crash late one night and walked out to find a car wrapped around that rascal. They didnt race down that street after that.
