She did and that showed up in the mail a few days later. I argued. She provided documentation. My wife was confused why I didnt know this.

If I wanted something to flip with I either needed to by a "turner" or a "serving spatula"...now you know too

I’ve always called that a scraper. We use it to scrape the last of the pancake batter out of the bowl.

All true. What most of us guys call a spatula is a turner - pancake turner, etc, like this guy (which btw I do really like)

that turner I linked works great as a scraper, we use it on our cast iron for stirring, flipping etc, then when it done to also scrape and clean the skillet.

Hmm... I searched 'slotted fish spatula' and this was one of several returns.

Not that one but one like it is my favorite for turning pancakes, too.
 
This is getting too fancy for me. I have two spatulas like Ron posted…and their primary use is as a popsicle stick for raw batter…otherwise it’s ‘whacha need, big/small fork, big/small spoon or a butter knife’.
