Paying for gas via CC in 1983 was pretty forward thinking too I would guess.

Ran around in HS in a ‘79 B210 hatchback. Hardest part was the wipers didn’t swish fast enough to remove all the panties from the windscreen

I also had a 1978 510 from new till it’s demise 20 years later when I t-boned a car that pulled out in front of me. Loved that car.

I had an Amoco gas card in the 80's. Cheapest I remember getting gas was for 90 cents.

I used to ride my mini bike through the woods and vacant lots up to a gas station that was maybe a mile away at best and get $.29 worth and fill it up!

I had a 79 620"sport" L20B engine w a 3236 weber carb,5 speed,disc brakes.American Racing alum saw blade directional wheels AND A/C. Thats right!!!!!!

My 620 also had the L20B with the 5 speed. And it was a “KingCab”!!!
