Random Thoughts.....

Lately I've been wishing I was 17 yrs old again and could just go ride my dirt bike after school right out of my parents garage and into the woods like I use to do every day.

I was thinking about the last 10 years or so and which year as been the best or at least the least negative and I have to say that 2015 was a pretty good year. Got married, went on a honeymoon, had already lived in our house for 2 years and were in the process of redoing some stuff. Seems like every year after that just gets harder and harder.

For me, it was early 20s at my first house. I lived in a small house on a small lot, but it was on a street with alot of family friends I have known my whole life. Across the street was a power line, and gas line easement, that was all owned by those friends. We rode atvs out there my whole youth, and it was nice to pull out of the garage and go for a ride in the evening. While I now have a little more land and a larger house, the room to ride doesnt really exist, nor as much time as back in those days.

I can understand that for sure. We are about 5 years ahead of yall, it sounds like. I can tell you, that once the kids get a little bit older, things seem to get a little easier, but not less busy. The young years are the more formidable ones though, so put in the work now for expectations, and it will carry through as they get older.

Yeah man, the wife and I and the LO (although she is just fine with the way things are lol) have just felt like we are in a some sort of rut here in the last couple of months. We normally don't start feeling like this till Winter. But every time we turn around, someone gets sick. Soccer starts in a couple of weeks, which will be nice.

How could a person/group spoof a buyback to get all the cool old heirloom guns these tardheads are turning in? It'd need to be a legit deep face tho so the media would believe it and publicize it

Article headline should read "Raleigh Police Dept wastes tax money on nonfunctional guns and pays criminals for stolen guns that they dont want anymore"

The way i read the article was either "Michael Wienholt" either collects high points or is a liberal.

I would argue this recreational shooter, hasn't even fired a BB gun since he was 12.

Article should read "Government continues to waste tax money"

No need to further explain it.
I'm not sure why you'd need any headline this redundant.

I don't know how many of yall have kids around ages 3-7 that watch Bluey, but man that show really pulls at my heart strings. This will be the show that when our daughter is all grown up, the wife and I will just happen to come across this show on TV and we will both look at each other and watch it and have us a good cry.
It's so cute, it's really the only reason we still have disney+.

It really is. My daughter has watched a lot of shows in her 4 years of life, but this one takes the cake. It truly makes me want to spend more time with my daughter after watching it... and to make it even better, my daughter has adopted sort of an Australian accent when she says certain things now.

And a little fact I learned. The world record for the longest living dog is 29 years... an Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler named Bluey.

So what I've learned over the last 4+ years of being deodorant/antiperspirant free, shower every 3 days, wash hair every 8 or so is that after a while you don't even notice your own smell.
It also makes one hell of an intellectual deterrent. If you smell like natural body odor and butthole, the intellectual snobs will be less inclined to bust up in your scene/all up in your grill and start conversations, only to weaponize that knowledge to use against you.
Never let those who think they're above you know anything more than what they should.
If a person doesn't work their ass off and smell accordingly, they can get the f*** outta my face.

I find, that when I am out in town by myself, and someone asks where my wife is, that a perfectly acceptable answer, and good conversation starter, is "At home, in the freezer."

Social media platforms learned that interaction and engagement led to more frequent visitation. Which led to more impressions, which led to more money.
They then created artificial interaction mechanisms that took minimal effort : likes, dislikes, loves etc to manipulate the populace to maximize their profit. Then the populace began to crave the response and began fighting for the likes unintentionally becoming shills and marketers for the social media demigods that many swear to despise …

The fish are killing each other not to eat the bait but to eat the actual hook itself

You're just jealous :flipoff2:

I want so bad to start a gym where phones aren't allowed. If a phone is seen out in the workout area...a 5 lb weight to the back of the head.

It would be glorious.
I think your looking for the word empty......as in no patrons
