Since this is being dug up. I recently scrapped a car at a company that specializes in it, and was told by more than 1 local yard that they could no longer buy catalytic converters unless they were attached to the entire vehicle being scrapped. Said laws were passed against them buying them to stop people from stealing them.Cut the convertors, aluminum wheels are bigger money alone, batteries can bring separate money. As far as what to remove/drain, call them and find out, every place seems to be different.
