We're updating our fleet and time for this one to find a new home.
We bought it 12 years ago and it has been meticulously mainteined ever since.
2006 Freightliner M2, Cat C7, 6 speed manual, 22' flatbed dump, 343xxx miles. 33k GVWR on the door.
Mechanically very sound, no rust, new windshield and in really good condition. Steers are in great shape, drives have many, many miles of life remaining.
Located in Fletcher NC. $16k firm.

Technically you would need a CDL, but if you don’t pass a weigh station and aren’t doing anything to justify getting pulled over, you’d be fine. They don’t know what your door sticker says or whether or not you have your CDL as you pass by.

And axle design maybe, but whatever…
Yup, but in all my "testing" there seems to be some considerable safety factors built into axle design.... And suspensions always seem to bounce back - except the front waggy springs on the CJ for some reason.

It's a 33k GVWR but looks like any other 26k truck. Matt's reply is correct.
For rural and/or private use, one could probably not have to deal with it.

Ive strongly considered man over the past few days. However I would not be the one driving, and Im not the type of person to put my guys in that situation, even though it would only be used in local 9mile delivers from mfg to loading dock for pickup. Going to look into another military castoff flat bed. Thanks for answering the q's
