All went well on saturday while I went and picked her up amidst all the fun everyone was having in Kentucky!
Here are a few shots of loading her up:
Had some 2wd 4th Gen T4R rims that I put on the back so I had good rubber for the tow home. Once home mounted them on the rusty chrome rims that came on the truck so I had 4 good tires that held air while this buildup ensues.
Students helping out:
yes I know, didn't realize till we were putting the newly mounted tires back on they didn't use jack stands. Stuff like that, safety issues that is, really bothers me and I always try and use it as a teaching opportunity.
One of my first year students getting the bumper mounts off since I won't need them anymore:
Gonna concentrate on systematically taking the engine out and labeling and bagging everything to see where I stand on the condition of the engine.
