Delivered this one a week or so ago.

FWIW where I work is only getting bigger and producing at max capacity with more orders than we can fill. We do sand and gravel products primarily focused on filtration. 27 employees, regular international shipments. 50 & 100 lbs plastic bags. And “super sacks” starting at 1,500 up to 3,000 lbs. he’ll last week we opened a contract sending material to the Middle East. Apparently they don’t have enough sand?? Projected expansions at the plant over the next 2-7 yrs are going to be interesting.
I always knew you'd end up turning large rocks into little ones... Do you wear orange coveralls?

Fwiw, we are holding steady or maybe increasing a little at work. Granted, we do a wide mix of projects from schools, to on base work, to commercial and multi family so we are able to just pivot to whats hot on the market. We have seen less high rises and more small projects though. But we are growing and taking on more structural work as well as the misc side.

Has anybody talked to the strippers?
They're supposedly the first to see signs.

We are slightly up overall. From a manufacturing standpoint, Aerospace is taking off (sorry not sorry), automotive is down, defense is up, general engineering is flat, electronics manufacturing is up, power generation is down, and medical is up.

Predicting a busy summer, then an overall slowdown Q3/4.

We are up considerably on the year as are most of our distributors. Direct customers have been ordering more as well. Granted it’s been our busy season for the first 4 months with some ideal conditions with good pollen, snow etc. It will level off over the summer so we will see where we are at EOY. Much of our business is weather driven so that helps when all the stars align.

The question I always wonder when a company is up compared to the previous FY is how is that particular industry doing as a whole. Because in our case a large chunk of growth has been from earning business previously held by competitors. So it was lost somewhere else by someone else.

GDP down because imports are way up with people trying to front run the tariffs and from importing gold.

Consumer discretionary overperformed.

Sounds dire.
Definitely time to panic! LOL

OMG!!! It’s been over 100 days! WHY ISN’T EVERYTHING FIXORED AND BETTER NOW?!?!?

Ukraine Russia war was supposed to be over 99 days ago, LOL.

My SIL is trying to sell two jet skiis and is not getting any interest. It is prime time for those toys. Anyone else having trouble selling stuff?

Yup. My son was having trouble selling his boat, and it is a good price on a cheap boat. Parts sales have slowed way down for me, too.

I just sold an old freezer for $150 and dude paid me in ones...

He said boss gave them to him right out of the vending machine.

There’s only one place to go with a fat stack of ones
Yup.
I'm going to Fed court tomorrow to appeal a really stupid ticket (fine). If it isn't dropped guess what I'm paying with.
