Yes. Which is why I don’t get her sun bathing on the deck in 90+ degree temps. Of course she will come in and lay on an ac vent. She ain’t dumb that’s for sure.

Don't be me. Cut a toe nail to short on our old dog. Didn't think much of it. An hour later it was still pumping. Had to go get my hunting dog first aid kit and use the quick clot in it to get it to stop

Almost 24hrs later and his toe nail is still bleeding a tiny bit. So I wrapped him back up, he was not impressed.

I will say between 4 of these guys I've gotten good at doctoring up dogs.

Meateater makes a good kit, I added extra quick clot, honey packs, sports wrap and quick stitch superglue.

I've heard that Preparation H, the gooey kind not the cream will clot it up pretty quick. Kinda what it's made for...
