Pictures of your Furry Friends.

Lost my border collie of almost 15 years back in the fall. Wasn’t ready for another dog but my wife duped my ass when her mom brought home this little shit’s brother and “they have one more that needs a home”. I get a hall pass to buy whatever the fuck I want when my wife brings home animals. Welcome our new English Shepherd, Sawyer. This makes for 3 hall passes stocked up. 🤣

What’s market value on a hall pass these days? If you’ve got three saved up that sounds like a decent purchase and or services. Guess it depends on what you want to cash them in on.

I love seeing the bond these two have. Also maybe the toddler bed was a bad choice so they could have more room.

Bear is turning ten next month and the vet called him a 'super senior'.. :(

We've been blessed, most giant breeds don't last this long. The entire family is constantly in a worry that his health will take a sudden turn for the worst. My daughter especially, she's never been without him and they are very close.

But so far, he's healthy as can be... Has trouble getting up on the bed to sleep but still wants to play every night.

Well, it's about time for a new pal. Been 5 months since my lab Goose died at 14. The boys have been on me pretty hard lately about wanting another dog and I think I'm finally there now. Would really like another lab or lab mix. This dog won't be a hunting dog so no need for a high dollar pedigree. Anyone know of puppies that might be available soonish, preferably east of Greensboro?

You bring home a puppy without your wife knowing and he may get that knife sooner than later

Duane

Duane caught me 😂

Ever since my lab Goose died in October, my family has been wanting another dog. Goose showed up the summer between my junior and senior year of college. He died at the ripe old age of 14 this past October. Took me a while to get over. Ford popped up on fb Monday or Tuesday when a friend of mines wife was acknowledged for getting a promotion with the police department and she was pictured with a little black puppy at the pound. My wife saw the post Tuesday evening and told me to call the pound Tuesday evening. Had an emergency at work Weds morning and forgot about it. Thursday morning I called and they said someone already had an appointment to see him that afternoon at 3 but I could make an appointment for Friday at 2 in case they didn't get him. Told me to call back at 330 to check. 330 I called and they said the folks didn't get him and to come Friday. Showed up at 145 and he was ours by 2. I saw his huge feet and fell in love, I like big dogs. Didn't tell my wife or kids and surprised them. Luckily the pound named him and we didn't have to argue over "Starlord" which was my youngest son's idea for a dog name last week.

Not sure what happened. One minute, we didn't have a cat. Suddenly, we did.

Has it started training you yet? Telling you when you need to feed it, let it in/out, and when you need to sit or lie down so it can rest on you?

Doggo's name is Ford? And was taken home in a GMT800? Ironic :D
Ha the pound named him so we just rolled with it. It was better than having to swat down all my five year olds suggestions. "Starlord and Groot" to name a few.

His name really should be "trip hazard". Dude has latched on to me hard. He needs no lessons in "heel", he's already there. I take a step and he's right there. He has zero interest in running amuck so far.

In keeping with his name, he got a long fine in the f150 this morning
