Lots of interesting news today

Their bread is aweful. So much sugar - something like 10% - that Ireland declared it can't even be called bread, but a confectionary.
I don't think y'all have them down there, but when I want a large hoagie / sub style sandwhich I go to WaWa. Its kinda like a Sheetz - gas station w/ food, but its actually pretty good. Their sammiches are easily 2x the amount of meat as Subway and better bread for the same price.
Jersey mikes or bust. On the side. Wawa is coming to NC. A few have opens in the area. I like shitz but even their food has fallen off the past few years. Not sure if it’s the ingredients or what but….

Hell yes.
The other great thing we have here is Royal Farms, AKA "RoFo". Similar style, but they're fried chicken is awesome. Had never heard of either before showing up here.

Sheetz has never done it for me. Nothing really special there that says, "I wanna go get some Shitz." Only "well, I need gas, and I guess they have food too."

Jersey Mikes is good, but 10+ bucks for a sub now. I managed one for 3 years, eating there like 2x a day for 6 days a week for free, 20 years later I still hate paying to eat there

We are starting to get Wawa down here, used to always grab a sub from there when I was driving through NoVa.

Wawa just invaded Fayetteville. Good to know they have decent grub.

Quiznos used to be my sub sandwich joint. Then they all but closed down. Now they are making a comeback but nothing close to me.
In my mind, they practically invented the idea of toasting a sub. I used to love eating at the one on Battleground on the days when I was over at dad’s shop.

We knew it was gonna be a Good Friday growing up when we stopped at Quiznos cause the Blockbuster was in the same building. BALLIN!!
First Quiznos I ever went to was right beside Blockbuster. Went there with my wife (who was my girlfriend at the time), ate tasty sammiches, rented a movie from blockbuster, then drove my yellow TJ back to her parents place and pretended to watch a movie while making out. Man life was better back in the 2000s!

Had Jersey Mikes today. They do have good subs. Sub Station II is great too.
Sub station II is awesome!! First one I ever went to was over in Lugoff, and we have 2 of them in hickory.

Quiznos was top tier in the early/mid 2000s then went down the shitter. Their chili sauce was great.

Wawa used to be good but they blew up and started getting shitty. So much so when I'm back up north I don't bother going.

A little Netflix and chill before it was a thing 😂😂😂

it's not first time :(
I mean, I’m not gonna lie, I’ve gone around the gates before too, but never when a train was actually going at speed or anywhere near crossing my path. How dumb do you have to be to make a good crash with a train. You know where it’s going and how fast it’s getting there. These are probably the same morons that pull out in front of me and if I didn’t slam on the brakes would get creamed.

On the restaurant note..since Cracker Barrel seems to the topic.

If I cannot buy a meal equivalent or better then my wifes cooking or a menu item she doesn't cook Im usually out. I have ate at one fast food restaurant only a handful of times in Ten years. Arby's. Used to frequent Subway, don't think i have had more then 6 meals from them in the same timeframe.

Now a decent Mexican restaurant. Once a week 🥴.
We had a family diner at the Cracker about a year ago because the celebrated person choose the location. Older lady in the family. Most of the attendees live on restaurant food. I for the life of me could not understand how you could ruin bacon, biscuits and gravy, or eggs. It was horrible.

Same here for the last year, at least with breakfast and supper. We eat out once every few months. Wife has been enjoying making everything from scratch, and I dang sure ain't complaining! Now, the company buys my lunch, so it'd be foolish not to take advantage of it by packing my food. I do however try to eat better here lately. Don't do McDonald's. BK, taco bell ect. Try to stick to at least bojangles Chic Fila, jimmy johns, and the like though I do still hit cookout for BBQ.

Since he is not taking a salary how is he wasting tax dollars?
From the simplest of calculations, anything he puts any effort into makes 3 dozen staffers take actions.

Now the democrats will propose a "Leave Cracker Barrel alone" bill and the Republicans will propose a "Make Cracker Barrel Great Again" bill and the entirety of Congress will waste time and effort on that...

And its not just Trump, both sides do it at all levels. Obama and the whole Trayvon Martin looks like my son crap was even worse. If they would all just go stick to the Constitutional expectation of their jobs, things would be a helluva lot better.
