Operation shop and house rehab

That looks good! It also looks like a whole truck load of "damn, I don't want to do any of that!" I applaud your efforts and I'm sure it'll be awesome to move back in, set the AC on 68, and kick your feet up in a comfy chair with a beer!

we never had good A/C in the 4 years since we moved there. I CAN NOT WAIT. now i work out side much more than i did before to so i want COLD air alot more than before.

Insulation, new HVAC/duct work, and new wiring ought to have it feeling like you could run a butcher shop in there!

Sheetrockers finished sanding today around 4. Just finished putting the first coat of ceiling paint on everything. Gonna need a second coat. Also realized lowes put 5 gallons of paint in the wrong sheen so that will get swapped out tomorrow.
Sheetrockers took my portable ac out of the window and put in the middle of the room and flooded the old hardwoods that I was going to use as subfloor. So they are taking up about 1/2 the living room and dinning room and going to put down advantech. Was suppose to do it today but they didn't show up.

I'm going to spray all the walls 1 coat then hang doors and trim everything after I install floors. Then I'll roll the final wall coat.

Just gotta make sure I get enough paint while lowes has it buy one get one. 55 dollars a gallon add up quick.

3 day weekend helped alot. Got everything primed/first coat of paint. And put down 15 boxes of engineered flooring glued and nailed. Think thats pretty good for just me and my father in law. Kitchen, living/dining room, about 1/4 of clays room and just opened up into our room.
One more little hallway and then the rest should happen pretty quick.

Doors, cabinets and rest of my trim should be coming in two weeks, I held them off because I knew I wasn't going to have the flooring done in time.

Wrapped flooring last weekend. Got the new cabinets almost finished. Need to redo the pantry so it will be flush with the fridge. All the doors beside the bifolds and got the base trim done in a couple rooms. As well as packing out the jambs in the windows.
Had to cut down and make some "custom" door trim due to not having enough room for the full width of the standard trim.

Two strikes today.
Countertops were installed.... wrong color by alot.....
I tried to spray all my trim and doors. Quickly realized once I had finished everything that my colorblind ass couldn't tell the primed areas from the white trim color. Wasn't a problem except on the doors where I over sprayed to make sure I got everything and now have some huge runs so I get to sand them down and try again.

Well i pushed hard to finish the house and didnt take many pictures as we finished things. Been in the house a couple weeks now.

Also still have the wrong countertops but they installed our backup option so they cut it 1/2 off and we kept them.

My office/ man room is still a hot mess
