Ordered some tires off eBay for my golf cart and they sent the wrong ones. Messaged the seller and it’s clear they’re not in the US.

“The return period is long and the warehouse processing time is uncertain, also it will make a lot of trouble for you to return it back, so in this case, how about we give you $30 refund and you keep the item?

And you can sell it or send it to someone who can make use of it as a gift, what is your comment? Waiting for your most convenient reply to advise.”

They make a convincing argument.

I countered with a number that would let me buy the correct size wheels to fit the tires they sent. Im sure this process won’t be annoying at all.

I bought a Black Horse roll bar off Amazon back in April.

It was missing the piece that stretches across the top for mounting lights. Just a thin, c-bar with slots in it. But stainless. And needed to mount lights.

STILL dealing with the drama. They asked for pictures of the box in June. Which, BOOM, I still had because I planned on burning them and hadn't gotten around to it. They seemed pretty surprised when I sent pictures of the boxes showing there was no damage. Then they wanted pictures of the labels. -sigh- Which I sent.

Now, in July, they want me to uninstall it, take it apart, rebox it, and send it back for a refund. They conveniently are going to pay for shipping.

I'm about to send them a picture of my limp dick with the note that I can't get hard without my 6" 100 watt lights backing me up.

Definitely not sending anything back on my dime. Hoping for the @Noel outcome and they just give up and I get a free set of Moo Shu Mud Diggers for the golf cart.
File a claim thru ebay "item does not match description" or something like that and they will contact the seller and give them X amount of days to refund your money, send you a return label,or offer you a partial refund.More than likely they will give your money back and tell you to keep the item since the shipping cost wont be worth it for them.Unless you offer to I dont see any reason you would have to pay return shipping. Not saying anything towards you but this is the main reason I dont like selling internationally.People will say there's something wrong w the item or they dont like it or some other bs in hopes you'll refund their money and tell em to keep the item.I've had it happen.

This is the new thing. I had the same thing happen to me. "How about a $3 refund and you can resale it?" How about you KMA.

The next offer was for $6, and then for half. I told them I'm not in game of selling wrong parts to people and I want a full refund. After I said I was getting eBay involved they said they would give me a full refund, if I could prove I destroyed it. I said sure and cut it up. Only then did I get the refund.

I don't believe I'll be ordering anything anytime soon from eBay after that. After the first BS reply, I ordered it from Amazon and got it the next day and fixed my car.

End result because :nopics:

STILL dealing with this BS.

Asked for a partial refund and they said no and sent a return label. Told me it has to be in original box to be returned!

Ship it in a different box. You paid for the product, not the box. You get your money back for the product, not the box. If they want it shipped in a particular box, they can supply the box, and they might as well throw the missing piece in it when they ship it to you. ;) 🤷‍♂️

I dunno, I often tell my wife "Hey look I bought this box for $100 and a drill came for free inside of it. Surprisingly expensive box, but overall a good deal."

For whatever reason she doesn't seem to agree with this logic but I find it sound.

So what you're saying is wives are like expensive boxes because something comes for free inside of them, but the price you pay for that box is...nevermind, I think I'm off track here.
