Are you studding or doing anything to this one before install? I'm not sure if @Clubbs is asking the same question.
No, just leaving it stock and unopened. I need to get the truck back on the road.
What's the story with this one?
Swapping it in my blowed up truck. Long story short, once I got the pistons out, I discovered the #1 cylinder was scored, so I took my engine serial number to the Cummins website and looked up the stock bore liner. $140 or something and in stock, cool. No liner puller, so I did the old run-a-few-beads-of-weld on the cylinder wall so the liner would shrink and pull out. A couple beads wasn't enough, so I ran a couple more and a good heavy bead around the top to relieve the press fit. Still nothing. Do some digging online and discover the 6.7 Cummins doesn't have liners, and the liners Cummins sells require you to pre-bore significantly oversize, so I'm just sitting there welding to my block like a tard. :shaking: Tired of this stupid project that I didn't even want, need to just move on.

It has a hitch, just haul it all to the scrap yard in one run!
Pretty sure Matt was referring to the driver getting out of the car, or atleast that is where my mind went.

I would hope the rescue effort would bust the back glass or pry the trunk. If It was a life saving entrapment the whole side and top of that car and trailer would be opened like a can opener before dragging that car out.

Dude that's hard to hear on multiple levels. Any idea why the first motor let go? Hate it for you man, but I'm sure you'll make quick work of it.

On a positive note think of all the spare cummins parts you can store for me until I need something...

Spent some time wrenching with Remi on the farmall.

Hey I can't line bore if you keep shinny stuff. Congrats on the new equipment!
Thanks brother.

Might still need you. I haven't decided to sell the old one yet. Sentimental me says, keep it. Business me says, send that thing down the road, ain't no room for sentiment in business.

Exactly. I imagine the driver was fine since the energy transferred into the trailer and moved it 75yds or whatever, but you can't open the doors. And if you're that drunk, you probably can't find the trunk switch or figure out how to fold the back seat anyway.
